Due to the large number of children among our family and friends, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration.

We hope this gives you the perfect excuse for a night off to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening with us! Since our venue is about an hour from the Cities, consider turning it into a special overnight getaway with your significant other. If your adult children are invited, their names will be listed on the invitation.

Our wedding will be an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends. To keep it personal, we are only able to accommodate plus ones for those who are married or in long-term relationships. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Pending good weather, the wedding ceremony will be held outdoors near a creek on a grassy lawn. The pathway from the ceremony site to the reception hall is a short jaunt down a gravel, unpaved road. Please wear comfortable shoes!

The reception will be held inside the barn, which is a renovated, temperature controlled space.

If the weather is poor, the ceremony will moved inside the barn on the first floor.

We don’t have a room block reserved yet, but there are many hotels, AirBnBs and Vrbos in the area.

We will have a shuttle set up between the Holiday Inn hotel (see our Travel & Stay page) and the venue. The hotel is a 15 minute drive away from Big Rock Creek.

More details will be added on timing of the shuttle once they are confirmed with the hotel.
